ABH Subculture Palette | Review

I’ve seen a lot of mixed reviews for this palette online, but the colours are absolutely beautiful and perfect for winter so I wanted to try it out for myself. I was ecstatic when I received it for my birthday. I couldn’t wait to play around with it.

This is my second attempt for this blog post as I accidentally deleted my first pictures (oops) so unfortunately the shadows aren’t untouched!

These colours are to die for! The perfect mix of cool and warm shades for autumn/winter. There’s also a mix of matte and shimmery shades.

The felt like packaging on the palette is beautiful, although I can already tell it’s going to get grubby quickly!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture Palette.

I think this palette is amazing value for £43! You get 14 shadows which works out at around £3 per shadow.

All the shadows have slightly different textures, they all have amazing pigment. Some are super buttery and others have a bit of fallout, that doesn’t bother me though because I usually do my eye makeup before my face. All the shadows are extremely buildable and are easy to apply as long as you don’t add too much shadow to your brush to start with!

Overall, I love this palette and I’m excited to see how many different looks I can create with it! There’s an amazing variety of shades. Swatches for the shadows are down below.

Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think in the comments below:)

I’ve been tempted to get this palette because i love the colours but after all the issues i just can’t justify spending the $70 (aus) dollars on it. In australia you can’t return makeup if you don’t like it only if their is a major fault, so its hard to want to buy something if your not sure whether its going to be good or not.

Ah that’s so annoying! If you’re not happy with something in the UK then you can just return it. I’d definitely recommend going in store to try this palette out, I personally like it but I know a lot of people that haven’t got on well with it! Or morphe palettes are always amazing – I’m not sure if you can get morphe in Australia?? ❤️

I’ve never seen that palette, I’ll have to have a look because Barry M is a lot more affordable! X
