Updated Skincare Routine

Since I’ve been working in an air-conditioned environment my skin type has changed completely. I was suffering from dry patches and previously I’d only ever been oily. Because my skin type changed it meant that my previous skincare routine was a bit too harsh on my skin.

I’ve been using this new routine for a couple of months now and it’s really improved my skin, I love all the products.

After removing my makeup, the first thing I go in with is the Clarins Gentle Foaming Cleanser with Cottonseed. This face wash is extremely gentle, it makes my skin feel so soft and clean after every use. It helps to eliminate impurities whilst giving your skin extra radiance. It’s extremely lightweight and you don’t need to use a lot. I use this every morning and night, its perfect for normal/combination skin.

After washing my face, I go in with the Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. This face oil is AMAZING, you see a difference instantly. I apply 2 drops to my fingertips and warm the oil in between my fingers before pressing it into my face evenly. Even though it’s a nighttime oil, I use it every morning too because I love how it makes my skin look and feel.

For the eyes I use the No7 Early Defence Eye Cream. This eye cream helps to reduce the puffiness in my eyes when I’m tired, it also gives my under eyes that much-needed moisture boost. It’s perfect for my sensitive skin. I use it every morning and evening.

Finally, I go in with a natural oil that helps boost your eyelashes. It helps them grow quicker and get thicker. This is homemade, my aunt made it for me. You can get the oil from Holland & Barrett link here and you can buy the applicator really cheap from somewhere like Amazon/eBay. I apply this to my eyelashes every evening, it’s also amazing for the ends of your hair and nails.

I hope you enjoyed this post! Let me know what you think in the comments below 🙂
