KIKO Colour Correction Concealer Wheel Review

Colour correction has become extremely popular recently, so I thought I’d give it a go with an affordable KIKO colour correction wheel. This post will include swatches and my honest opinion of the product. P1010488P1010491P1010494P1010495

At only £12.90 this concealer wheel is very affordable in comparison to other brands, if you would like to purchase it I’ll leave a link here.  I’d always see KIKO stores but I had never actually had a proper look in one until the other day. I’ve always heard good things about KIKO so I thought I’d try this product as I’ve been having some discolouration in my face recently (mainly redness due to breakouts).

The colour wheel has 5 shades going clockwise they are:  1 Lilac, 2 Warm Beige, 3 Green, 4 Beige and finally 5 Highlighter.

  • 1 – livens up dull complexions
  • 2 – hides dark circles under the eyes in faces with olive or dark complexion
  • 3 – covers up reddish areas
  • 4 – hides dark circles and covers up dark spots (for people with a light complexion)
  • 5 – creates points of light on cheekbones, eyebrow arch and inner corner of the eyes

This product is extremely good quality, the concealers are so creamy and pigmented. I love the shimmer on the fifth shade, it looks so natural on the skin.

I’ve tried it out under my foundation as well as the swatches and I’m overwhelmed with the results, the green concealer completely cancels out any of my redness and the beige tones completely remove the appearance of my dark circles. I never thought colour correcting would make such a difference to my makeup. I’ll definitely keep using this product day to day and I’ll be shopping at KIKO more often.

Yes it is! That’s where I bought mine, I’ve only ever seen KIKO stores in London or large shopping centres though. I’m sure they’ll have a list of UK stores 🙂

I’ve been looking to try colour correction, this seems like a good dupe for the Tarte Rainforest of The Sea correcting palette. Will definitely give this a go! Thanks for the review!

Hey, can you use the green shade on your cheeks or is it only meant for correcting small red areas of skin? Because my problem is that my entire face looks really red under flash photos and I don’t know how to correct it

I’ve not personally tried it all over, but I’m pretty sure it’ll work just as well over your whole cheeks!!
