It’s always nice to have freshly painted nails, mine always seem to chip within hours though. This means that I’m constantly repainting my nails. Because of this I always love to have a neutral nail polish on, so I don’t have to worry about my nails clashing with outfits. This blog post is about the perfect neutral nail polish for spring as well as a review.
OPI has always been well known as a good nail polish brand, you can tell because of the price tag as well – £12.50 a piece means it has to be good quality. I’ve owned OPI nail polishes before and I’ve never been disappointed, this purchase was no different. They have such a wide variety of colours to chose from that I was overwhelmed and wanted to purchase everything.
I love my nude colours, but I quite often find them too pink toned for my skin complexion and it washes me out. So I generally go for the darker nude shades because it looks nice when I’m pale or tan. This OPI shade is Over The Taupe and it is the perfect spring neutral in my opinion. It goes with everything, and compliments most skin tones. I think I’m in love.
Not only is the colour perfect, so is the nail polish. The formula applies so nicely to the nail, it dries quickly and it’s best feature – IT TOOK MORE THAN A DAY TO CHIP ON MY NAILS!! The brush is big and allows you to paint your nails extremely fast as well as accurately.
In 10 years I wouldn’t be surprised if I had my own mini nail corner filled with all of the OPI polishes, bit of an exaggeration but we can dream. Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post! Comment below what you think and what are your favourite nail polishes for spring?
